The Law Society represents solicitors in England and Wales. From negotiating with and lobbying the profession's regulators, government and others, to offering training and advice, we're here to help, protect and promote solicitors across England and Wales.

Representing solicitors abroad

The Law Society represents the interests of solicitors abroad in a number of ways:

• We defend and extend the practice rights of solicitors.
• We raise the profile and standing of the profession internationally through international cooperation projects 
• We represent solicitors in international organisations that bring together lawyers and lawyers' organisations from around the world.
